HWB Nepal works for HWB International as outsourced company. Most of the projects are from Europe, and a major portion included web based application, of different kinds. I joined this compnay as E-Commerce support to Maca websites, whose development started few years before I joined them. Reading throught the source code was a first challenge as I did not know how the system was built and what its application logic was. After working for next 6 months, I was able to take care of entire aspects of these websites.

I learnt working with payment gateway, design and maitain a very high traffic e-commerce websites. That was a good achievement. The company grew sooner, and I felt it. A lot of new people joined the company. That's the greatest achievement of the company. The manager tried to let the employees have a good working facilities.

All of the people were from different backgrounds of their studies. So, it was always nice talking them whenever we could find the the time. The company once started to award 3 best staffs of the month. It continued for 3 times. But later, the decision of rewarding few persons was discared and the money was spent to all of the staff. So, everybody now reserves the right to drink 2 cups of coffee with 15 minutes break each time, and get fresh before being back to the works.

Radio Sagarmatha FM 102.4 MHz is the first South Asian license holder to run a community radio. I worked for its weekly program on Information Technology called - Sagaramatha Online. Getting with new people and ideas was the basic requirement to collect materials and prepare the audio programs. My brother helped me with his voice and audio editing skills. We worked together with the staffs of the company to complete the weekly program. Each Saturdays, the audio product would go on air. Find more about the radio station here.

Getting inspired from the senior presenters, we discussed in the program about the social issues which should have helped people aspiring a quality IT programs. We heard the IT programs produced by other radio stations and tried to give much more than this. This helped us explore a detailed idea about anything. For news and general product innovations, we refered to the Internet Search Engines.

However we had one bad experince - we had to work till the mid night. As many program presenters too wanted to use the recording studio, it would make us wait a long for our chance to record voices. After the recording was complete, we had to edit the audio and bring it into qualtiy. The next day, the audio was played on air. Working till late was a self inspiration, but it disturned the other family members and our eating habbits. Also, as we were living far from the radio station, the transportation was not easy as we worked. This forced us not to continue this experince.

After I terminated working for the radio station, I now feel I have lost good people, chances to be with them. In fact, I become lazier. In some part of my later life, I am wishful to join the radio-media again, because I can not forget the fun, enjoyment and serving for the less-educated people. That was a great job I worked for, which purified my ways of thinking for better aspects that should be in the socity.

World Distribution Nepal - I worked in the Nepasoft Solutions, a branch of WDN, as an internship trainee, but after my college course was completed, I was hired by the same company. This is a company with very good corporate images. See more details at: WDN Website and Nepasoft Solutions website. I developed these websites while I was working for WDN. The project managers were keen to complete the website, and tested every words, sententecs and pages developed. That was really a work working with them. I was working them with PHP, Photoshop, Customer Support, application installations, Server's secondary administration, website maintaining, etc. I learnt what a project and what a team is, while being in WDN.

Nepasoft focused using Java based applications like DocBLITZ and Pigen, which are the greatest applications in context of Nepal. Most of the projects developed WDN are based on Oracle, as the company is itself the only vendor of Oracle in Nepal till the date. Later on, I was working with Remitron, a remittance-software, wich was built using EJB and JSP. I too joined the team to go to the banks for the installations and configurations of the software.

Nowonwards, Nepasoft has adapated working with .NET platform too. They started woking in this platform, in the month, I was about to quit the big company.
